Dan and I are just finishing the packing-up of our home. Half of our possessions either got sold cheap or were given away, and the rest is going into storage or into our travel trailer. We hope to leave our home on the Central Coast of California in just a few days. First leg of the trip will be to Oregon, land of my birth. We will visit my cousin, her daughter, her mother (my last living aunt on my mothers' side) for about a month, then head towards Arizona and the southwest to spend the winter. Wish us luck, as we've never been anywhere and have only used this trailer a couple of times for short weekend trips! A couple of greenhorns we definitely are!
The only fly in the ointment is leaving our newly acquired granddaughters Crystal and Bailey (my son married their mother a few months ago), and leaving my adult kids, but hopefully we will come back often enough so they won't forget us!
